Not our sort of scam, and I'm only posting this as it refers to what we know as the recovery scam.

These cheques were for as much as 13 thousand euros, and temptingly people have been told the money is waiting for them out in Spain. All they have to do is pay some tax money up front, several thousand euros and then go and pick up the cheque. |
