Bird, I am sorry if I sounded cross. I am brand new here, and my feelings are still quiet raw. I am such a trusting sort (not such a bad thing), that I didn’t know these kind of people even existed. I am glad you are Aware of Situations. I know to look under my car at the mall for thugs, but this was a huge over site!

Branwen, makes a good point about the Total lack of other resources. Even the fact that the ex wife would not send $400 to get him back to the States and paying child support was a red flag. You will at least be glad to know I did ask him if that meant he was a bad father or just a Bas***d, lol.

To everyone, I thank you so much for your support and kindness. I admit my mind is reeling. But I keep going to the different threads to read your experiences and am leaning much. I find some of these stories both funny and therapeutic. Thank each of you for sharing. I am going to be staying close to this site while I try to sort this out. I think one of my problems is I am looking for Logic where there is None.

No worries Hookie,
Just remember to always see the dark side first, Trust no one, and hit your hand with a hammer, if you attempt to hit the Dollar key on the keyboard.
Some of these scammers are incredible, and will invent tragedies and drama's to suit whatever you tell them. just remember, there doing nothing else but inventing stories, in an attempt to con people out of there cash.
And if your in doubt, Post the problem on here, it's a fair bet, someone will have encountered the scam or cash request before before.
