After baiting a lad for a couple of weeks, I send a email. I get no answer, so 5 days later I email him/her again only to get a message saying that the email address has been deleted.

This has happened to me twice now, and I think it's irritating. Does this happen a lot with you guys?

Quite often. Sometimes it's non-baiters reporting those email accounts and having them closed.

Not much, but some people report the email address and it gets deleted, with the result that the poor lad has to spend another three minutes to create a new one and copy his info of the victims he has close to paying or who are paying again.
No use at all for a scam baiter, so we don't so it.
The lad spend then a bit of extra time to send out another 200 invitations to his game and he's back in business.
To prevent it you can ask the lad to switch to another email provider as your firewall/computer/email program/boss/wife/partner doesn't like yahoo addy's Wink
