I had no idea there was a group like this.. came by it looking for something else. I thought I would share what happend with me a little while back.
I got one of those letters.. ya'll know what I mean ( I was selling a puppy) and I thought it would be fun to play... we chatted on Yahoo messanger and after a while I had him admiting what he was and actualy sending ME check account cards cause I convenced him that I was desperate enough to help him get money out of accounts and send him PART of the money.this is information he had to pay for Smile

. When it arrived I called the banks and reported it so they cancled the cards imediatly and when he asked if I got them I told him that I had and would be sending the money right away... then I emailed him and told him that I had been cought and had been bailed out of jail!! hehe I never heard from him after that. There was a lot more to it than that as far as getting him to send this stuff.. .. phone calls ( he called my cell phone several times ) and email and chatting.. took over a week. I need to get a life Smile

I hope if you decide to continue baiting scammers, that you first read all the stickies regarding safe and ethical baiting. Looks like you've got some of the modalities down pretty good, but now that you know we exist ( Wink

), you may want to set up a "safe" email address with fake details, etc., etc.

You may also want to ask for a mentor, study at Eater University, and just generally learn a whole lot from the seasoned baiters here. Very Happy
