I've been working on my first bait for about a week now and it's going rather well. My lad believes I am an elderly man living in a retirement home and that I've started a collection amongst my peers to help rebuild his orphanage. At my request, he has already sent me several pictures of the orphanage and the children he clearly cares so dearly for. Laughing

I set up a K7 account and sent him my phone number last night. He responded with a lengthy blessing (he's a reverend you see) and asked me when a good time to call would be. This latter point surprised me. I did not expect such consideration from a lad. He has not been pushy at all. He's so accommodating that I hope to get a nice trophy out of him. We shall see. I'm taking it nice and slow to build up his anticipation.

Nice job. Have you instituted the secret code word yet, so you can be sure it's him, since you've been getting prank calls for a while?

^^yup. OD is right, SMS. You have to slowly set them up for the pic, and the reasons have to fit your story. You can't just drop it on them all of a sudden, or they will get spooked. Very Happy

Will do. I have been restraining myself to no more than one e-mail per day. It's an agonizingly slow process isn't it? I would love to tell my lad to buy a ticket to Timbuktu, but I don't think that would go over well....YET! Twisted Evil

Ah, yes...but the rewards are greater. Very Happy
{Plus, you get to watch them squirm, and try to avoid the inevitable!} Laughing Sweet.
