so I sent him a clearly readable mocked up WU receipt for $22,750 from a virgin email address, someone he has never heard of
with a subject of : inheritance release fees
and body of: please find attached WU and please forward my inheritance to the bank account I have already given to you
I wonder if he's got the balls to try to collect the money as he's clearly a little fish |

Not necessarily. This is a well known tactic: starting off with small amounts to suck the victims in, after which the additional fees will increase rapidly. |

Yep, it goes: test payment, slightly larger payment, ridiculously large payment, and if the victim says he can't raise that amount, the lad says he'll pay half. Having lost too much already, the victim thinks his only hope of getting anything back is to carry on sending. This game continues until the victim twigs, goes bankrupt or dies.
Lads on our hooks have this mentality too though, start 'em off with small demands and work up to the big trophies.  |
