Setup a secure bank account for them over there 200 miles away, and tell them to go travel there to withdraw the money for their trip over to the funeral. Tell them that you'll give them the account number and bank info after they get to the town. As soon as they email you from the cafe there, you will give them the bank account information.
Maybe she can brings some friends along too. The more people, the bigger the cash account will be, of course.

Well I don't have permission to quote it directly as it comes from another site, but one lady was telling the scammer that she hadn't had any money to feed her baby for 3 days and she was being evicted from her house in 2 weeks as she had sent her rent money to the scammer. She'd also sold her computer and scanner and was reduced to sending him emails on her mobile phone.

This lady wasn't a baiter. She was a genuine victim.

And the scammers response to that email was to tell her to send him more money and to ask how the baby was?

There must be some scammer school somewhere where they get trained for this and told to leave their integrity, morals, compassion and decency at the door when they enter. Rolling Eyes
