Hello from Toronto
Recently cruised through some large ad sites in Toronto for jobs
specific to driving chauffeur etc. Several well worded ads squeezed a reply
out of me for more info and low and behold

Yep - the "I'm out of town so I need everything done remotely" bit is a sure giveaway.
Besides, I don't know about Canada, but in the US, they can't ask your sex or ethnicity. If they ask, and then they deny you employment, they leave themselves open to discrimination charges.
ETA: they can't ask age, either. They can only ask things that are specific requirements for performing the job. But, of course, we won't tell the scammer that. |

Tell him that you have a PADI licence (scuba diving) and ask if that will do.
As he couldn't care less if you have a licence, he'll probably say yes. All he wants to be sure of, is that you have money.
"How many kids?" - I love it.
I'm surprised he didn't ask for your religion too which is a common request in scam Lottery wins. However, this would be much more relevant with a driving jon in case you had an accident. |

Being a longtime 419 savvy guy (I'll say 15 yrs backtracking spam, running irc/shell sites, learning how it bounces from planet ot planet with no tracks in between) I knew this guy was worth the price of a ride. I'll get the hang of baiting as prior to being here I generally replied to these guys that "yes, I really want to work with you guys and so do my three brothers that work for the RCMP and the FBI....
would it be possible for us all to meet soon so we can start working for you right away?". The predictable replies were always a deafened silence....the sure sign that the scammer is wounded and holed up under a mound of yak dung somewhere out of province.
Next, I'll offer up some of my very valuable time and brain cells to lure them on and get them within an inch of hanging themselves. I almost hate to give them the time of day but for the entertainment value alone I guess it's worth the effort. Hope to have some trophies on my hood before too long.

Nah - wouldn't be any more successful than requiring licenses to drive. I mean, have you seen the way people drive? |
