The park where the SSC is located is hellish to get to... but they in Port Harcourt, which is closer to Cameroon than it is to Benin, and Pendjari is no lovely place to end up, either. Neither of these places, of course, is as wonderful as Abeche, of course.

I'm of two minds:
one is to send them anywhere, just get them moving, and play from there.
or
The other is to get them stredded in hell, some miserable place, well and properly f*cked. The first seems more likely, but the second would be so much more satisfying.

These lads dola chopped the guy you sent to Abeche, or are they the same crowd?

I don't think they are really connected, that I know of. Stredded without hope is what I really like but these guys don't seem to like the idea of sneaking across borders or making promises to drivers they can't keep.

Yeah, they're a lazy bunch. Dan had ambition, but not brains. Well, enough brains to figure out that scamming wasn't the right career choice from what I can tell.

We'll play with this bunch a little while longer until they give up and/or I find a new idiot to send into the desert.

I do think there are more hoops for these guys to jump through. It is my understanding that the church donation account has grown to over $500,000 since Howard has been away. Once he gets back and clears up the mess with the IRS we might be able to transfer some funds.

Just let me know if Rev. Pete can do anything to help with the new ones. He's bitterly disappointed to have postponed the conference indefinitely, but with Swine flu and all, it seems like it's the right thing to do.

Bruckner, would you like to write up a quick format I can punch out to a few thousand lads? I was thinking something along the lines of "sorry, not able to help. However our church is doing, blah blah blah". I'll get it on out to them soonest.
