Following on from the Watchdog segment on scammers, more companies are realising that there is a problem out there. Four major companies are now looking into the lottery scammers to see what can be done. It also mentions that local police can be informed (hopefully they won't just lose the reports (not scam reports) as our local station has done in the past.)

I think this is a good thing for the UK, and worldwide in general. The more people know, surely the less will fall for them?

I did read in the papers that the UK Police are setting up as team next year to try to combat the Internet crime problem.
The article was on Phishers (as young as 12) getting to be a bit of a nuisance
