I have got over the Roman and French conquests of Britain and hold no lasting grudge. Nor do I perpetually blame all my misfortunes on the subjugation of our people and culture, and I can get on very happily with Germans and Japanese in spite of two World Wars in which I lost close relatives.

Absolutely...... but where I'm from it's called revisonist history- i.e. government controlled textbooks/information in public schools. Hell, they never have kids read classics like 'Fahrenheiht 451' anymore. At least 'Brick in the Wall' is still out there.
