Funny, I received an email on a catcher account with the Subject: Cutie. However the email said this:

Made me wonder if some baiter has convinced this lad that "Shorty" is an acceptable term of endearment. What do you think? Should be fun... Twisted Evil

That's not baiter re-education, that's a term of endearment for a good-looking girl, or your girlfriend. It's a hip-hop thing. It can also be spelled "shortie." That's pretty old slang though, it goes several years back. It figures that the lads are picking it up just now. Laughing
