will the credit crunch affect scammers?
when will we see scammers have access to all the icelandic billions?

I'm not accepting money anymore. It's just too risky isn't it? And gold is no good either. You can't eat it when times are tough. No one but lads can afford it now anyway.

Having $23,000,000 in a shaky bank or security company is a real headache these days. I feel sorry for my lads as their main asset is disappearing and losing it's value in front of their eyes.

You need to get your lad to turn your share his worthless piles of paper into something you can be sure will hold it's value during these desperate times. He can burn his share to keep warm for what it's worth right now.

Being a multi millionaire is not as much fun as used to be. Very Happy

My concern about this is that there are going to be a lot more victims.

If someone's within days of losing a house, I can see them wiring $350 to Nigeria to get an ATM card with an $850K balance on it.

what would you suggest Windy instead of money or gold?
maybe instead of having all your eggs in one basket as it were by using money that could become worthless overnight we should put our money into a chicken farm ( I know Mr G0mer knows someone with a really hot chicken farm that may be for sale Wink

).
at least with a chicken farm you could sell the chickens or cook them or sell the eggs ( assuming the chickens are not pre cooked that is Twisted Evil

)

At this point I think the only people making any real money are the Gomer Boyz. And I do think that we'll start seeing more people losing money to these bastards as people become more and more desperate.

I'm sure the fake job scams and fake loan scams will grow. Unemployment is bad almost everywhere, and in California there's some fear that the unemployment insurance fund will run dry in January.

I wouldn't be surprised to see an increase in lotto scams, instant riches, all you need send is $xxx to release your funds.
Maybe more cheque cashing scams. Scams that offer you quick riches as opposed to NOK's, puppies and 'need money for pills' types of scam

People might be less inclined to help others when they are up s**t creek themselves and need a quick way out.

We'll see what happens.

The whole bank crisis is a chance for somebody to make up a new
form, maybe an "FDIC Insurance Guarantee Form.."

10 million bucks sitting in a bank WON'T be covered by FDIC insurance, unless of course this lengthy form is filled out..

Is there a form-generator link someone is aware of? Do I also need a PDF creator type software?

Meanwhile, I believe more and more victims will fall into the offer of millions for nothing (almost). This will enhance the already growing scam industry. Sad

Actually the financial crises can be used as a good stalling tactic, I go on about the exchange rates, and how they will loose money , if they send out the inheritance at the moment. I'm about to insist that they use some obscure currency, Azerbaijan, New Manet's sound the way to go.
And I doubt Bosnia and Herzegovina, Convertible Marka will be affected by the Wall Street problems.
