Mal got approved - and I didn't even send my passport!

This paragraph was a doozie:

Make this payment as fast as possible and we will issue you a clarify approval fee remittance receipt to dignify your clearance in the approval fee payment and to enable us fasten your Productions as narrated above.

What could I do but send the money?

Done - it's sent.
Sender's name is ; address is 22a Wharfs1de Dr1ve, Char1eston, South Carolina, USA SC394O1.
I expect to receive my certificates soonest.

But something seems to have gone wrong (so wrong they sent this twice):

Regards to your Approval fee payment done, please we need a compete informations to receive the payment which are:
1: The scan payment slip issued on the Western Union
2: The Secret Question and Answer
3: MTCN Number
Any insincerity or dishonest in the required payment will disqualify you from your British Citizen Amnesty Processions Already Registered, so we demand all sincerity and honest from all our dealings with you. Confirm your payment and send us the required details mentioned above for the collection of the fee and proceedings to your British Documents Productions.

Mal was icily polite:

I suggest that you tone down that attitude - throwing around accusations of dishonesty and insincerity is no way to greet a new citizen, especially one with a distinguished military record.
Speaking as someone who's used Western Union quite a few times, l can tell you that the MTCN ain't needed for pickup (check their website, it'll tell you that) and the Question/Answer bit is only required when the collector doesn't have proper ID - and your man would have good ID.
I don't have a scanner, but I can probably find one.

I will heed the advice of a polite horse for it is written that more flies are caught with honey than vinegar... although assault carbines and monstrous wolves are still fun.

have you read the stickies above and on other sections?
if so you should know how to 'bait safe', any questions then first read the FAQs and then ask.
if you need one grab a mentor.
and lastly but not least 'have fun'

I've been with this lad for about 2 weeks.
I sent the Nick Nolte police mugshot for use in my shiny new British passport.

I refused to pay the fees until I was sent the "Home Office approved" application with all my details injected. The lad complied with a relatively nice looking full colour form and I simply had to sign it and send it back.
(OOPS forgot to do that)

I am going to invoke the "chopped by HM the Queen" on this one.

Thus I have produced and sent my official "I have paid Her Majesty the Queen via the Royal Bank of England" fees receipt.

I am now awaiting the lads response to my payment folly. Very Happy
