Who's been baiting "Director Donal Porter" then? Wink
Quote:
I am fine and you ? i need to infom you that in my country here in
burkina faso on line transfer dose not work,i advise you to go to bank and
make the payment to the account and forward the transfer slip to us Ok.

He sent me bank details straight away, third reply, without my having to bait them out of him. If lads are learning from us about the unreliability of wire transfer, that's fine. They immediately send us bank accounts, we send them to Alan, and they lose them. Sounds a nice system to me. Smile

It's a very good system. Smile

Just a thought... when he says on line transfer, was he maybe referring to online banking? Or would that be too advanced for a lad?

I think he's talking about a regular transfer, I'm guessing only the most sophisticated lads have online banking figured out.

In the time I have been baiting, I have repeatedly stressed the unreliability of services like WU and MG to every lad and when they insist on it, I make sure their dollar is chopped.

He sent me a regular account. There was none of the usual fencing around "western union is the most reliable method of sending the money so i advice you to send it soonest". We got the account, straight off. That's nice. I think for sure he's had a bad experience with westies. Smile

The reason he wants me to go to the bank is probably so's I get a scannable transfer slip. In the past, after getting account details, I've told lads there's no slip to send because I did the transfer online. He's probably been bitten that way too. They're as easy to gimp-job as westie slips anyways, so it's not a problem.
