Call me parnoid and I know there's not much chance of any lads finding me from my IP, even tho' I use Yahoo but I decided to install an application "Anonymiser" Which hides your IP.
Trouble is Firefox just will not run now, IE runs fine but I've used firefox for so long IE feels like sleeping in a strange bed. Any tech's got any sugestions |

Windoze and Firefox as browser, IE might work too, but not sure about it. Have a look here, how about a fresh IP# when you log on every time? In Firefox you can add an add-on that will switch it on or off as needed.
Disadvantage, date sites check your IP# and if it hops from Brazil to Germany to India they might block you there, so pay attention. |

Have you tried setting up a proxy in Firefox options, look in your programs help file for and find what port it uses then in Firefox go to:
Tools>>Options>>Advanced>>Network>>Settings>>choose "Manual Proxy Configuration" and in the box type "localhost" and then next to that type in the port your proxy software uses. Type localhost without the quotes. |
