adding pics to a post?

how do i add an image saved in my pictures onto a post?

not through adding via imageshack etc (its only a small picture)

Esq, I'm afraid you need to host the image somewhere on the net to be able to add a link to it in a post here. Imageshack does not require you to create an account to host a pic, if that is what concerns you?

To add the image once you have it hosted, you need to add the coding tags at the start and end of the link, like this:
