This scammer defauded a french woman/3 000 €. Says he is an american citizen. First in London. Now in Gahna Accra for bussness. He will be in France on august but never arrived because he is now in jail.
Asking for 50 600 $ to be free.

and convince him that you need the money urgently...you
don't have to send all the 50000 at the same time if your
country does not approve of it...what ou can do is send
it in small parts....for example you can send 5000 a day
till you get 50000 okay...you don't have to send all of
the 50000 at once okay,just send it in small parts.I know
the amount is very large but you have to try and it in
small parts okay...you have to understand that no one
can come to Paris for the money because it is going to
take a long time for the to get the visa and that would
prolong the stay of Barry in Ghana.If you don't get the
money then that means Barry is going to stay in this
country for a very long time and the conditions in the
Ghana prisons are not very good...in fact he can get
sick and die before his time is due...so we have to try
and get the money to save Barry and Curtis...Curtis has
been crying everyday because he wants to come to you ....
it is not important to come to Ghana,it is not safe for you ....
you might be attacked by robbers if you come here
and Barry doesn't want you to be attacked ...he wants
your safety ,so please understand him okay...he doesn't
want anything to happen to his wife ok....so please don't
consider coming to this country because it is very dangerous....
Barry loves you so much and wants to be with you in Paris
and not Ghana,Barry hates Ghana and he wants to live here,
he doesn't want you to come here so please don't come okay.....
please try and convince the director of your bank to give you
the money so Barry will be released and come to Paris ok.
Barry and Curtis are counting on you to send the money
for them to be released and then they can come to France okay.
When do you meet with the director of your bank?take care

Hi Accra,

Thank you for posting those details here, it has all the classic halmarks of the scam that it is.

Unfortunately a recovery scam is likely to come along next, that is where the same scammer plays the part of a law enforcement agency and offers to retrieve the money for her, some time into the scam she will be asked for money in order for the money to be returned.

The sad reality is that once money is sent, it is gone forever, there have been some isolated cases (I can actually only think of 1 right now) where money was returned to the rightfull owner, it is important to noe, there was no fee payable for the money to be returned

The email did indeed come from Ghana (41.211.3.241 Ghana*)
and it was sent from this IP owners domain, most likely an internet cafe at that address
