Back in August 2006 I had occasion to use a version of the famous Colonel Jessup speech from A Few Good Men; just today, I got to use it again, after a fashion.

Have you ever seen a comrade die in battle, or watched as corpsmen worked to safe the life of a comrade who will never see again? Have you ever fought for your life, killed in the name of duty, and seen the gratitude of liberated people who have seen freedom and a future without fear for the first time in their lives?
I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself any further to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I once helped to provide, but belittles the sacrifice that I and others made for that cause, and would probably run and hide rather than face the enemy like a real man would. I'd prefer that you said thank you, and gave me respect. Otherwise, I suggest that you find the courage to take up a weapon and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think!

I've adopted your attitude towards the "barristers", oh fabulous mentor, and discovered they don't like it much...MUHAH!!!!

Barristers are an arrogant lot, and need lots of slapping. Firing them is also sometimes needed when they are particulary imcompetant, as well. Smile
