i said i would pay with credit card.

My wife was paying for some clothes online.... the payment page came up, and I told her to stop while I did a WHOIS search on the website concerned before I'd let her put her card details in. |

When get fed up with the insurance accounting office and tell them you will file a complaint with the state insurance commission and drive to your barrister unless they supply the tracking number for the next day air shipment that the check will be delivered in. You tell them you will allow 30 minutes and will check it online and they get back to you in 20 with a valid number.
Edit: They tried to screw with me a year later by sending an adjuster to inspect the work. I thought for a moment about going for the personal safari helmet by "meeting" him in the middle of one of the world's most congested cities during the middle of the evening rush hour on Friday at a place where parking is $15 for twenty minutes when the ITP rule popped in my head. I have nothing against insurance adjusters, just this one company. |

You could have told them that Poochie came down with a bad case of sniffles, and you had to take her to the vet, right away...sorry...
