Apologies if this idea has been posted previously.

I've got many lads on the string, trying desperately to comply with my simple instructions, which go something like this:

"Thanks for your email, but I apologize for the delay in responding. Your email had become lost within all the emails sent me by my Uncle Jim. That's a problem, and I want to fix it because your emails are important to me. So what I'm going to do is ask you, my Uncle Jim, and the publishers of my two magazine subscriptions, Yachting and Conde Nast World Traveler, to put ONLY your name in the subject line of every email you send. Then I'll have my email client sort on the subject, and yours will pop to the top."

What's amazing is how they can't seem to comply. We exchange endless emails in which I ignore their requests for contact information to slap them for putting "FROM" or "DR" or "ONLY" or just their first name or just their surname in the subject line. When they finally get it right after about 7 emails, I congratulate them, and we proceed as normal.
