Well, yesterday, my Jeep was broken into while I was at work, I had about $800 worth of stuff stolen out of it (even my flyrod!) and a broken window. I feel violated, I feel like I want to kill someone, and I feel like I can no longer trust anyone.
That being said, I still cannot imagine what it would be like to be a victim to one of these scumbags that I keep reading about on this site. In my situation, there was no violation of trust but with a 419 scam, it must be heart wrenching.
I can't wait to get a hold of my first lad and just let him have it! |

Reno, I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
The thing about theft (whether like yours or by scamming) that really gets my blood boiling is that it's so totally impersonal. The theif doesn't think that they're taking something from a person, or if they do they simply don't care that they're causing hardship. They are so totally self-centered that the concept of other people having needs and feelings simply doesn't enter the picture.
So, even though it wasn't personal to the thief, it was personal to you, and by extension to your friends.
A scammer will be baited on your behalf. |

I feel you Reno. I had a window smashed out to get the laptop, my cd collection, and the stereo system. If I ever found the people that did that they'd get one hell of a walloping.
Anyway, welcome to the sport of lad walloping. |

Welcome to Eater. I feel your pain, had my own car stolen on father's day a few years back. Lucky for me the car had only a drop of gas left in it so they didn't get too far (couple miles maybe), but they did enough damage in their short joyride. |

YAY! unusual, but lovely to hear.
they tried to cut my fuel line and drain my fuel tank years ago, scummy buggers. Got the wrong pipe and no petrol, but i left a trail of fuel across town from the return line they'd cut.
thieves of any type are just a waste of skin. |

I am glad that the rogue who broke into your car and stole from you was caught, and I hope you get your items back. |
