Quiet day in the office, baits are very quiet too so my bored little eye roved over Ebay and I cam accross an Ebay shop called Bangkok Gems. Nice pretty stuff (I love sparkly things even though I am male), so I googled it and came up with this:

I am not suggesting the Ebay shop is scamming but the article and their choice of name is interesting, although personally I don't think I would fall for it.

There are sites from thailand that sell gems - that are legit. (a very good friend of mine has bought, and knows how to tell fake from real.)

I think buying you *could* get a fake, but others you just paying less from the source. Jewelry has one of the highest markups of any consumer item.
