Got a scam from a Marine captain stationed in Iraq who's stumbled over some of Saddam's millions ("i know this letter will definitely come to you as a huge surprise, but I implore you...". My female character replied to him:

No, this was no surprise to me – I get this kind of message all the time.

Send a nude photo of yourself, and then we can talk about doing business.

So I get a message back:

Quote:

Dear Sunil,

How do you do with your family today? I hope this mail finds you well.

This is my nude picture for you to believe me.

I await your urgent response.

The picture was of a smiling US serviceman in the desert. Maybe a Marine, maybe not. And it wasn't nude. Oops. So the lad corrects his mistake -- with "(sorry for the name)" added to the subject line:

Dear Helen,

How do you do with your family today? I hope this mail finds you well.

This is my nude picture for you to believe me.

I await your urgent response.

No picture this time.

So Helen replies:

There was no picture, nude or otherwise. How can I trust you if you won't show your picture?
