Eater member TheRIGHTWay posted a hitman scam letter from one in the help forum and invited others to take a crack at him. I decided I'd try to draw Mr. Agent into a seamy tale of film-noirish intrigue set against the neon-lit underworld of darkest Paducah, Kentucky. , a seedy private eye, fires off an email pleading for his life, and the fun begins...

This was my first bait, and I had a fantastic time with it. Comments and suggestions are more than welcome.

Update, 6/30: The sordid panorama continues to unfold as makes a fruitless trip to the MoneyGram office and tries desperately to deal a dollar-chopping clerk out of the picture. It's good wholesome fun, free of all this modern suggestiveness, and the PDF file above is now up to date as of this afternoon.
