Just to be on the safe side I'd ask for it to be marked 'Irrevocable' and 'A/C PAYEE' too - and 'not negotiable' because you don't want to take any risks of any one else cashing it.

Then ask for a copy of it to be sent to you. It'll test his photoshop skills. Laughing
