I thought that WH (and WH40K) Orks talked like parodic Cockneys (or Germans, depending on which version).

Actually I started using Lad terms when roleplaying an Ork in Earthdawn - calling people "mugu" and telling them "go kiss yer mama's toto". Caused a lot of puzzled expressions.

they always came across to me as a mix of about 60% east end villain, 10% mafia and 30% southern state redneck. Great fun to paint, I learned about solvent poisoning very quickly and moved to acrylics...
