It's been a while since I've been on these forums, because I haven't had the time to devote to a truly in-depth bait. However, I recently received a letter in my P.O. box that I had to share.
It's 8 pages of rambling testimonials and exhortations claiming all sorts of ridiculously outrageous things: That if I join this system, I'll be the heir to the 2300-year old secrets of a Greek secret Illuminati that will provide me with unlimited wealth, health, and teh luv of all wemenz, or something like that. Naturally, no specifics are given in the letter as to what, specifically, these secrets entail.
The letter wants me to simply mail the last page of the letter back to the address provided, checking my consent for them to mail me this "free membership invitation" back by the end of the week.
Oddly, the letter has an account number and apparently an individually number manuscript.
What the hell is up with this, and have any of you guys heard about this before? And do you want me to post the mailing information so you can check it out more throughly? |

Just another scam.
If you send in the form, you will receive an invitation to "join", a
request for "dues", and a list of books for sale. |
