I was pretty sure when I clicked on the 'unsubscribe' and was taken to treatyourroyalty.com and told that my address had already been unsubscribed, that it was total hogwash.

What's even odder is that I'm originally from the Burlington, VT area. hmmmm

I'm not sure whether it's a scam or not. If I knew the law on representations in the US, I'd know whether holding yourself out as a lender in an email is civilly or criminally wrong. They are, it seems from their site, intermediaries (but not agents) for lenders, not lenders themselves.
