For long I had the idea that Russian women are beautiful, intelligent, practical and probably the best brides in the entire world (maybe some you think alike), but I really want to know if it's true! Or if you can give me a realistic description for them, what does make them different from other women, what does make them the choice of many lonely hearts?

Unfortunately we only deal with scammers here, not russian women. All of the stuff you see in the love scam forum are battles between us baiters, and gangs of mainly russian men who merely pretend to be women to lure in lonely people.
I can't give you a description of Russian women as I've not met many, and of course they are all individuals.

Here is my insight not on Russian women, but on those that look for them. This is slightly biographical as I almost fell for one several years ago.

Depression.
Low self-esteem.
Fear of loss.
Feeling you are better than someone.
Having someone dependent on you, so they won't leave.
The impression they are more old fashioned.
The impression they will be impressed with you living in the US even if it is a single wide.
The always exciting allure of the exotic.

How much this applies to other people looking, who knows. But from what documentaries I have seen, it is probably pretty close.

Unfortunately, this is why the scammers are so successful, they prey on those who already have some emotional issues or relationshipial (is that a word) issues.

My thought is if I can make one scammer send out one less email because they are dealing with me, then that one guy might have a chance to get is head right and back on track like I did.

Russian women are pigs. They sit around smoking, drinking vodka. When they get drunk, the beat up russian men, (Who are wimps) and make them pull scams so they will give them money to spend on cigarettes, vodka, and pygmy porn DVD's.

This is the truth. I swear.

There are no so many smoking women here as in USA

The majority of people doesn't drink vodka at all.

There are some men and women which drink vodka and smoke the same as in any other country.

You said so as you never been to russia and never met any russians

One of the trademark sentiments in the russian romance scam letters is that russian men drink and smoke too much, are unfaithful, beat women, and are unsuitable to marry.

The funny thing is these letters are actually sent by men, primarily from the mari el republic.

Who would know better that russian men are worthless than real, russian men?

I have been to Russia several times and have had relationships with two Russian women - not women I met via the internet.

The comments posted earlier about the type of man who looks for a Russian bride on the internet may well be true - I was not looking for one! A lot of Russian (and E. European) women do have many good qualities. They do not suffer from miserabilism and feminism like so many Western women, hard arsed loud mouthed materialistic bitches that they can be. They tend to be very feminine, in a nice way, and take care of themselves so they look good, on average more so than Western women. They also have a pretty open attitude to sex.

The first Russian woman I met was whilst I was on a business trip there, she worked for the company I was visiting. She invited me to go out with her one evening for dinner and it was clear within 5 minutes that she was looking for a passport out and someone who, relative to her anyway, was wealthy. I told her that there was no way that this was going to happen as I was married (not actually true), but that we could still be 'friends', we had a couple of pleasant evenings together which ended up with her in my bed. She did not ask me for money although of course I paid for the meals and taxis and so on but as she showed me some great places in and around Moscow, and I had several nights of good sex with a goodlooking young woman, I did not feel this was a bad deal at all.

The second was a somewhat different scenario, I met her on a business trip in Western Europe and one thing led to another as the saying goes. She made it clear that she had no intention of staying in the West as she had a good job and a child at home. At no point did she indicate that she expected anything from me. She even joined me a few weeks later on a trip to the Gulf, I offered to pay for her ticket which had cost her a few hundred dollars, but she refused the offer. We saw each other a few times but the relationship gradually dwindled out and then I was pleased for her and relieved that she had met someone else.

I think that often these women go for Western men as Russian men tend often to be abusive and poor providers, whereas they see westerners as rather better.

That said, I don't know enough about Russian women in general to answer the original poster's question but I would very much doubt if " Russian women are beautiful, intelligent, practical and probably the best brides in the entire world " is true.

Now ask me about Romanian women and I may give you a different answer but that's for another time!

Yeah, but the emphasis of 'green card hunting' FSU ladies, has shifted from 'western or US' men to EU men. Much more mobility with an EU passport, the bloom is somewhat off of the American peach, so to say, and much closer to 'home' for visits......
