Basically I'm baiting a guy from Burkino Faso,

after a few exchanges he writes:

Quote:
Dear Mugu 4ndy,

I am a black African and i am proud to be black since black is beautiful,i had my doctorate in banking and finance .

I pull him up about addressing me as Mugu,

he replies
Quote:
Dear Mr 4ndrew P4ndy,

Mugu is my native language for my dearest friend.call me on my mobile line if you are interested in doing business with me and stop wasting time

Anyone out there know if this is true, or has he made a good slapping error?

I wouldn't slap him. I'd just start calling him that. It means big fool. I would just have fun with it. The potential for humiliating greetings is too high, where a slap only lasts one shot and he'd probably just drop you.
