Can you give me your opinion on the best webhost available I was thinking of Bluehost because you get a free domain http://www.bluehost.com/.

whichever one you chose try this;

Google the name of the hosting company and the word problems.

One of my clients was going to switch until we got about half a million hits that way. At least I hope he decided not to switch at this point.

I use 100webspace. They are the only ones I found at the time that allowed cgi scripts in a free account.

I'm currently using Byethost and am quite happy with them. Of all the free hosters I have tried they are the only one allowing to use the mail()-function.

I am happy with them. Great customer service.
I dont have anyone else to compare them to though. They were my first host. But when I have problems, they are right on it and fix it within a few minutes.

The problems I had were self-inflicted, not their fault.

For that kind of site, free sites make the credibility of the info contained on the site questionable to some people. A paid for host is the better option and shows that the owner of the site is serious.

The web hosting that is offered through Eater is a very good deal and would fit in with what you are wanting to do. There are so many options to choose from in this particular hosting account.

If you don't want to go with that one, I have my personal site through GoDaddy and I pay $70 or so a year plus the domain registration which is cheap. I have never had any trouble with them or with my account.

There are a lot of choices out there for web hosting. It all depends on how credible you want your site to look to people that are hunting for information.
