knowing to which great lengths Lads will go to pull off a scam, they pale in comparison to some Baiters i have seen here.

until i found this site, i simply ignored 99% of scammails. hit SPAM and that was it. some i replied with a scathing barrage of insults. nothing more.

i am very impressed with the patience, shown on the part of the Baiter. Not only keeping a lad on the hook, but having them completely do their will(s), all the while letting Lad think he's actually the one in charge.

lastly, i've noticed nobody really tips their hand, even at the very end.
there's always some kind of "tragic event", that prevents further communicae w/the lad. brilliant. good reading.

I did so early on in my baiting life. Now I don't. It's great when the Lads come back for another round, as happens occasionally - if you burn them there's no replay value.

Burning is counter productive, it's very rarely done these days. Far better to just slip away into the night, making the lad wonder what went wrong.
And yes, patience is one of the most valuable things for a baiter to have... it's not a hobby for the impatient.

I've never done it, always kept them wondering at the end what they did wrong to lose someone who tried to pay.

I have never told a lad, and I think you will find that to be the standard response. I've had many occasions when I convinced myself that the lad was never coming back, only to have him resurface, sometimes months later.

You will find that occasionally someone will tell a lad that they have been baited, but only after the lad has been put through months, and sometimes years, of hell. Kevin is a perfect example of this. He traveled thousands and thousands of miles, for over a year (I believe) before a baiter told him.

A lad is truly never gone. They may have convinced themselves that you are a "joker", but there's always a part of them that thinks you are money, and that part tends to bring them back.

Never have. Just want to leave then wondering (like all of my ex girlfriends did to me... Not that I am bitteror anything...)

It is better reward to let them wonder...

Oh and Welcome, Good way to start.

Bait safe and have fun (leaving them wondering). Leaving them wondering keeps you in control of the bait even beyond the very end. Twisted Evil

Patience indeed is a major tool in baiting.
Very few mugus have been burned. As mention above, they are long baits. over a year.
These mugus have been dragged through the mud rinsed and dragged one more time.
The advantage is that the baiter knows the mugu so well, that he knows how he/she will react.
The mugu will think twice about scamming again.

Some scammers have spotted the fact that we put up their videos on Youtube. It's a balance between informing/educating potential vics and risking a scammer finding themselves. Sometimes though it's fun to IM them from a different account and go "I saw your video on Youtube. What kind of an idiot are you??" Wink

The ones I have decided to end I have either stopped commenting or did the "wait-a-month-then-have-the-lawyer-contact-the-scammer-because-the-are now-on-the-will-thing"
