Harmful Parasites - Everybody has them. If left
to live and breed inside your stomach, small and large
intestines and colon, they will eventually cause
you to puff up, gain lots of weight, get sick more often,
and take many, many years off your life!

They use your body as a 'Food Storehouse' and so
they can live and breed by the millions. But now
it's time to flush them out and down the toilet
for good. If you don't they will just make you
fatter and much, much sicker!

Next should very sick obese people be forced to breed tapeworms?

we could just feed them 1 then after a few weeks another it would be a bit like suicide murder of tapeworms but its all good in the end.

Which brings me to my point - the end does not justify the means - that spam is nasty.

Check the 1908 Sears Roebuck & Co. catalog. There are LOTS of reprints available. In addition to complete $899 house kits - delivered to the railroad station closest to you - they sell capsules containing tapeworms. And, of course, capsules to kill tapeworms. I'd expect the latter cost more.

For some reason, the US Food and Drug Administration (born many years later, and now mostly out of business) took a dim view of this solution to the problem.

I expect tapeworms to make a legal reappearance before the next US election, and they're probably available right now through one of the hundreds of spams I get daily. Thumbs down

Hmmm. I thought they usually went by the name Colin (the British ones) or Colon (the Spanish ones).

The "real" name of Christopher Columbus (1451-1506), generally believed to be the discoverer of the Americas (named after his navigator, Amerigo Vespucci) was actually Christobal Colon.

(Chris had lots of names, depending upon which particular merchant or royal personage he was trying to swindle out of exploration venture capital.)

The Vikings dispute Chris' claim, citing discovery of North America 500 years earlier by Leif Eriksson. Some people will do ANYTHING to get out of York.
