I haven't seen this scam before, but I wanted to know if anyone else has, and if the senders can be baited. This came from "Jonas E. Hargrove."

This is actually fairly common and there are even, um, "legitimate" institutions that will sell you diplomas, degrees, etc. That's how some of these "doctorates" get to be such--by purchasing such from a diploma mill, instead of going through the hard work it takes to earn those degrees and titles.
Some people want all the prestige for none of the work. |

Max, have a search around the forums (and indeed google) for "concepts college" in London. Ezy and his gang are a great example of how you can run a bogus university from a small rented room, and make a fortune in the process duping foreign students into paying money for worthless fake diplomas. He's also a great example of how impotent our government is to act in shutting these people down and deporting them back whence they came. The BBC ran an expose on these "colleges" and still nothing gets done. I've been trying for months to get them closed and I'm not the only one.
It's nice to know that Ezy lives the life of Riley while the rest of us work in honest jobs to pay his very extensive benefits package.  |
