Well, I've had facebook for awhile, shouldn't be against the forum rules, but I started a group on facebook called "I live for hardstyle" if you have a facebook account you can come on and join my group =)

I'm a Facebook addict however i would never give any clues to my Facebook profile here, very dangerous in my opinion as my real life is there for all to see.

Not a Facebook user, myself. But I wouldn't share if I did have one. Keeping this part of my life completely separate from everything else if I can and all that. Smile

Too bad I don't have a face book! I am very much into trance music and all it's variants (I can even do the hardstyle shuffle on the dance floor). I would switch over to facebook from myspace, but then I'm stuck with the problem of how to expose my own music... Confused

There are 76,309 members on facebook's "Nigeria" network. Although most lads wouldn't waste their time on a social network site, that number still gives me the creeps.

That reminds me - I recently saw a news story about lads targeting LinkedIn users. Apparently it's easier to hook a victim when he thinks the scammer is a friend of a friend of a friend.

I use facebook, but as has been said, It's got my real info on it, so as far as I'm concerned it's entirely separate from what I do here.

Well my facebook has my real name and the area of Dubai I live in, which is still pretty broad, in my opinion, anyone that adds their contact number, or anything like that is just asking for trouble anyways.

It's always good to be a little secretive about your information online, as people can find out lots about you just from your profile.

I must be getting old. What's the attraction of MyFace and all those other sites? What is it, in short, you do with them? Is it like just chatting or... ? I'm baffled why it's so popular. It must be offering something that wasn't already out there, I'm guessing, or it could just be a flash-in-the-pan internet fad.

Facebook is a whole lot more than just a blog page, open an account then search old schools, work places, Regiments etc, you will be amazed by how many old mate you meet back up with who you haven't seen for years. Theres thousands of groups covering all types of subjects and interests (yes there are groups of baiters), generally it's pretty addicting.

Like bomb said I have facebook but wont be mentioning it here. It is great for catching up with old friends, I found a lot of my mates from college I had lost track of over the last 8 years. Also a few from High School.

@donato - it is nothing like myspace, I really despise myspace myself.

Eh...I'm 26 but don't get the whole constant-connectivity thing. I don't quite know where my cell phone is most of the time. Hey, it's SOMEWHERE in my room. I'll find it if somebody calls me. Smile

I'm on (although I'm 30+...) Facebook. No chance to join any kind of group related to this on Facebook though as I got my real details there. I've found that it's a great way to find people from 'way back then'.
