Hello,
I new to here but have been reading this forum for about a year. I love what you do to these guys. I was wondering if I could come here for help? I get tons of scam emails a day. Most are about lotteries and fake job offers. I have marked all as unsafe through Hotmail and done everything I could to get them to stop but I still get them every day. Can I come here with the email addresses so you guys could get rid of them?

As Yea says^^^. Post them in the surplus forum. Make sure you include the email headers and obliterate any of your real life personal details. Others will then take up the baton.

If what you're asking is "Can we help get rid of the scam emails" then the answer, unfortunately, is no. They just keep on coming, no matter how much you bait them, filter them, block them, whatever. If that's what you're after, then the best answer is to create a new googlemail address. Gmail is extremely good at filtering and blocking unwanted mail.

If my learned colleagues understood you better, then yes, post the mails here and we can have fun with them.

I went to the surplus scam letters area and I saw that you need to have a different kind of header. I clicked where it told me to but I can't change the header. Can I just post the emails there without changing the header? I use Hotmail Windows Live Vista. I clicked on options but there's no preferences or anything about the header.

In hotmail live, look at the list of mails in your inbox or spam box. Right click on the email you want to select, and a little list will pop up. At the bottom is "View source". Select that, and the email will open in a new window with the full header shown. Just cut and paste that.

Be careful to:
1: Title the post as to what type of scam it is and where it is based, e.g. "Next of Kin, Burkina Faso".
2: Chop up any long lines of script so that there is no forum "blow out". Use the preview button to check.
