@OldBagLady - have a go at him. I don't remember the exact site, as I had joined several, but I'm thinking that if you email him, you will probably get a response from him. As far as I can tell, he's not online at the moment - I have myself appearing visible to him on YIM.

I too am a devout Christian, and I'm thinking that he (like my recent ex) figured that was a good way to get to me. Especially by saying that he's a pastor and that his father is one as well. And he claims to be online constantly because he is "counseling" some of his church members. Now, call me stupid, but why would he be counseling his members online? I just had a counseling session with my Pastor last night, and it was in his office!!

My personal feeling is that he will bite. I suspect that he's busy trying to find victims who will actually send him the money that he keeps asking about. I also think that he thought he found one in London and that fizzled out. In September, he was going to London from Johannesburg to study Greek and Hebrew. By February, he was sitting in Nigeria.

Welcome to the forum.

This guy sounds not very nice, and it looks to me like he thought you wer vulnerable. Luckily you were not!

I hope you stick around. You are obviously watching closely! Baiting is a lot of fun, this is a great site, and I used it to help me through a rough patch last year. Since then I have really enjoyed it, made some friends, and found a really worthwhile hobby.

I look forward to reading more. Maybe we can all have a piece of this guy here! hahahaha!

Thank you so much for the welcome. What's really funny about this is that I was at my most vulnerable when we started talking back in 2002 LOL!!! I didn't fall for it then, I sure am not going to fall for it now. Especially since there was a little voice (I now know what that voice is) that kept telling me to be wary of him.

For those who are interested in baiting him, I think the best way to get him to respond is through his alleged AIDS/HIV ministry. He claims that God told him to start this ministry to save the children who have been orphaned by AIDS. What a slimeball.

It's not so much that I want to stick with this guy. I'm curious to see just how far he will take his begging. He's pathetic. And I think I made it clear (at least I tried) yesterday that he will never see any money coming from me. But I have told him this several times, and he persists in asking. So now, the tormentor side of me is coming out - how long will he keep asking after I have said absolutely not. Not to worry - I do not intend to try anything funny with this guy. He'll have a hard time finding me if he ever gets over here. He only has my cell phone number and he doesn't know where I live other than somewhere in Pennsylvania. And now that I think about it, after 6 years, he never has really asked to know anything about ME - he just jumped into the "I love you and want to marry you" nonsense. I had to get nasty with him a few weeks ago because he wouldn't answer simple questions like "do you have any siblings" or "how old is your daughter" or "when did your wife die?" I hear the alarms going off again LOL.

Just my 2 cents but I think it best to leave him to OBL at least for the moment, if he suddenly gets jumped on at the same time as lost dumps him it wont look so good.

Lets OBL do some work on him and report back, then in about 2 or 3 weeks time everybody can bait him till he bleeds

And you might have a new hobby Laughing

It's very addictive and you'll have a blast every now and then, the rest is just copy and paste after a while or you specialize and develop your own game.
It will be hard to break up after all that time, but then he is just a criminal and a liar. And you won't have that much spare time anymore now you found the eater. I think you'll do very well as a baiter as they all said above.
The eater can supply a mentor if you want to, so you don't have to publish everything in public when you run into a snag with one of your new "friends" and a second opinion handy when things get a bit exited. ( Linky to mentor, if you haven't done that yet )
Google your character every now and then and your Lads, so you can see what might be shown about your game online.

Bill2 - thank you for the welcome. I have set up my first character whose name is Luciana and who is newly single and looking (that's easy for me lol). I'm ready for my first bait-training session hehehe.

In the meantime, I'm having fun watching Sam beg me to believe that he would NEVER EVER ask me for money - but he can't seem to tell me who did this - hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I'm getting such a good laugh out of all this.

Good job Lost! I like to out my lads now and then when the bait gets a little slow and boring - and sometimes it becomes a necessity when you've still got them on the hook but have exhausted all reasons for not sending them money.

Anyhooooo, one thing I know is consistent with lads is that they HATE being labeled a scammer almost as much as being called a small boi, goat lover or homosexual. Currently I have a lad that I outed ages ago and still love him (blecch!!!). He is so invested in denying that he's a scammer, that he's split himself into multiple personalities. He always blames his scammy tricks and comments on the other guy. He chats with me from his personal account under his real name and then when he wants to whine and beg for money, he opens up his old scammer name account.

It sounds to me like your lad has a little of that going on. He's going to play indignant that you could accuse him of such a thing and continue on for awhile pretending that someone has either stolen his account or his password. When that doesn't work, he'll eventually become moderately contrite and start begging. He'll prey upon your compassion and sympathy and over and over he'll complain that you don't really love him or trust him.

He hasn't answered any of my contacts yet and he might not. If he hasn't got a lot of other victims lined up, he'll most certainly think you are my friend that told me about him. He'll suspect I'm not really looking to help his charity but am only checking him out for you. He may even suspect I am you. For me baiting is like a chess game. I have to think moves ahead and anticipate what my opponent might do and what options I am leaving him.

I have another concern for you, Lost. Over the last six years you have more than likely given this guy enough information that if he really had the ability, he could come or send someone to knock on your door. This is not baiting safe and baiting safe is the number one priority on eater.

You might think you're safe. Perhaps you've had some fun times and intimate moments with this scammer an you think he's really harmless - but hon, more often than not, these men are devoid of conscience and filled with hatred and contempt for western women. They are criminals who truly do not share our morals and values and definitely not our thought processes. It is my prayer that you do not have much emotional involvement invested in this man, so that he cannot worm his way back into contact with you under your real name and ID.

PM me your chat ID, though I suspect it's (you missed one in your chat log there) and we can work on a strategy for teaching this small boy a lesson about screwing with the minds, hearts and finances of western women!
