To one of my lads:

Quote:
I fear for my security on the internet, and i use a code to send personal details over email.

It goes like this.

When i say a, i mean b.
When i say b, i mean c
When i say c, i mean d.
When i say d, i mean e.
When i say e, i mean f.
When i say f, i mean g
When i say g, i mean h.
When i say h, i mean i.
When i say i, i mean j.
When i say j, i mean k.
When i say k, i mean l.
When i say l, i mean m.
When i say n, i mean m.
when i say m, i mean n.
when i say o, i mean p.
when i say p, i mean q.
when i say r, i mean s.
when i say s, i mean t.
when i say t, i mean u.
when i say u, i mean v.
When i say v, i mean w.
When i say w, i mean x.
When i say y, i mean z.
When i say z, i mean a.

When i say 1, i mean 2.
When i say 2, i mean 3.
When i say 3, i mean 4.
When i say 4, i mean 5.
When i say 5, i mean 6.
When i say 6, i mean 7.
When i say 7, i mean 8.
When i say 8, i mean 9.
When i say 9, i mean 1.

I will send the details in individual messages, to again help protect my identity.

One message per day.

I know this is a pain, but protecting my identity is paramount.

You could try sending him huge texts - emphasis on the word huge. Tell him that there is a code using this text and that he must decipher it with the code key to get the message about his WU payment MTCN and secret question and answer details. Of course if you spend thirty seconds tapping random numbers then he will be doubly screwed because if you include a lot of ones and a few twos he will have to work out what the hell you mean.

A number corresponds to a letter in Chapter 4 of a Brief History of Time. You need to count out the letters and write down the letter from the passage. This message gives details of your MTCN and Secret Question and Answer. This is the only way that the cash will be safe.

I found that very amusing. Laughing

I agree with Bill that if you are also using that encryption, then you're expending too much energy.

It would only work on a very few lads, and would be an approach to mass email to see which lads bite.

With that said, two routes you can take this, just messing around:

- Complain bitterly in plain text that you didn't understand the emails because the lad transposed information and then just make up nonsense.

- Type a bunch of nonsense, and then mess with the lad for not understanding what you wrote.

The lads will drop you, but it would be fun just for blowing off steam.

I've been thinking about using ROT-13 ciphers for some of my lads. It's simple enough, but it'll slow them down for sure.

I sometimes worry that maybe I'm the only guy here that keeps baiting simple! Laughing

^^^^ nope .. Just finished replying about 50 mugu's in less than half an hour. For instance: Keeping changing the loan amount on loan firms for various reasons also works pretty nicely.. they have to change the calculations and legal forms time and time again .. and that's all before they even can visit moneygram for a couple of times for nothing .. Evil or Very Mad

Sometimes even a blank reply will urge them to be a bit more extensive on their next email. Let them do the efforts.. not you.

Of course there's various baiting flavors. Getting them to produce trophies or organizing safari's needs more than a shallow approach. I also do this sometimes, mostly when I get the feeling they're really eager.

There's no R or Y either.
I can run up a program to do this encoding easily. PM me if a lad accepts it. And of course if you'd run a .exe from someone you don't know Wink
