Hi

Yesterday I received an email purporting to be from AOL who are incidently my ISP

I thought it had quite competent graphics which might trap the unwary

The email stated that when I bought something on the net that day they had not been able to process my card & could I contact them through their link, included in the message to confirm my details.

As luck would have it I had just bought over the net but had proof that my card had been succesful so needless to say I didn't act on it but reported it to AOL through their 'Customer Care' dept - & that saga is another story

Welcome to Eater, JonCris. I'm glad that you didn't fall fo the scam. That is known as a "phishing" scam.
