Nigeria is a major oil producer in Africa and OPEC. What I wanted to know is what share of its income GDP/GNP is based on oil. When you look at the Oil rich gulf states, they are extensively developing their countries, and are not viewed as poor countries. Why not Nigeria? All they have is a reputation for corruption and 419 scams and fraud. It is still listed as poor.

Is there less corruption in the gulf states? Is Nigeria has rich as some of them, or is not comparing like with like
