Hello All
I am a bussiness owner/manufacturer and advertise on a number of international websites (alibaba.com, globalsuppliersonline.com, ect) thats where I think they get me email address from anyway I get at least 3 or 4 419 emails a day and around 25 a week. I am very busy and simply dont have enough time to play as scam baiting is fun but doesn't pay the bills. I am looking to pass over as many 419 emails as I can as I believe you are all doing a wonderfull job. Some of these emails would be fun to play with but like I said I just dont have the time. What I suppose I would be looking for is someone hopefully a Mod on this forum and they can allocate out these email to you best baiters. Thanks very much and keep up the good work.

PS: When you are finished I would like to see your work from some of the emails I have pass over as these scum really piss me off and to know I have been involved it their baiting and ultimatly their frustration would make me a really happy.

So what do I do just post the message and XXXX out my details? I want to know how many does everyone else get. I can get 3 or 4 of the same sort of story but in different words from different parts of the world (as they have mobile phone numbers) in one day. Do they have a 419 hand book or something?

Yep... we break them into a few different categories, but they're all pretty much the same idea. And yes, these guys exist in every country on the planet.

More than one book actually, and many of them are not very creative. They get their addresses in many ways, but raiding guestbooks and corporate sites seems to be very popular. I'm not an expert on their technical capabilities, but I'm pretty sure they'll take any e-mail addy they can get as long as it doesn't involve working hard. Their letters are mostly scripts that they beg/borrow/steal from others in their "profession". Smarter lads will communicate directly, but even they often rely on scripted material. Did I mention that these guys don't like to work?

If you want to keep us stocked with your letters (not everybody wants to be a baiter - some people are obsessed with this whole "reality" fad!) but don't want to break them down into headers and such, you could just forward them to me. If interested, just PM me and I'll give you an addy to send them to.

All of those go in the category known as "Orphan Scams", but I would not class them as similar within that catagory. All of the scams are very similar to each other. From the scammer's point of view there is no reason to change a good script.

The other types of scam that you might find are the Next Of Kin scam "someone died and we want you to stand as next of kin" (sometimes they say you are related to the dead person, usually not,) and the Beneficiary Scam where someone is dying and wants to give their vast wealth away to good causes. Throat cancer is a common motif with those, because it avoids talking on the telephone.

Those are the classic 419 (advance fee) scams. There are other related scams out there that begin differently, but end up in much the same way.

The other sort you might find in your inbox is the Job Scam. The scammer offers a job accepting cheques and wiring the funds on. The cheques bounce after the victim has wired the money.

Just copy and paste, then delete your (characters) email addy and you're done. As you don't tell me what you're using I can't be any more specific.

In Outlook: open the email, click on the "View" menu, and then "Options". Copy everything out of the "Internet Headers" box.

There is no need or reason to get a mentor if you are not going to bait.
