The guy is a wannabe hero who created an incomprehensible website and then had the audacity to charge people for his "expertise"? Sorry, he's not much better than the scammers if he thinks he's creating value for his audience. Anyone who thinks he/she is the preeminent authority on 419 scams is likely deluding him/herself.

The best I'll say is that he has good intentions somewhere, probably underneath a flashing icon.

Notice the site hasn't been updated since Sept, 2007.

I dunno if this is significant, but he's only three letters away from being the WORST. His website is also guilty of many crimes against aesthetics.

OMG! What a website! It's somehow so 90s, with all it's flashy-thingy, it's colors and the whole "style" of it.

And he used a trial of some program called Hypersnap to take a screenshot of his mail-client... Either use Gimp or just use the magic combo and paste into Paint. Wink

I'd love to have that 1M$-note though... Wink

Well, I'm gonna go wash out my eyes with Domestos, or better some highly concentrated acid...

Hmmmm Let me see, while it's possible that there is a PO box 12345 somewhere I somehow doubt that's a 'sincere' entry. Phone number, Oh Please! and Google finds no match for a zip code of 10345

So while this site has been around since oct of 2001 it looks more like an attempt to cash in on 419 scamming than anything else.

Harassment is never a good idea, Ex. We bait 419 scammers, and even though this guy appears to be a scammer, assuming and acting stupidly will get us into trouble.

While yes, it looks like this guy is trying to profit from victims, technically I don't think it's an outright scam.

And for one Anti-419 site to be beating up on another Anti-419 site over who has the 'purist' message would just make us look bad.

IMHO just put this guy in the same general category as a troll. Annoying but harmless. If asked I'll advise against people spending money on what he offers but other than that I don't plan to spend any more time on that guy.

There are proper ways to do that, godaddy for example. It is strictly against the rules to use false information in the registration, and that would probably be enough to get it closed if it were reported.

However, I agree that we ought to leave it alone unless we get more information that he is actively scamming victims.
