Some of the more imaginative scams sent to my e-mail(s) in early 2008 included a physical street address. They don't want you to use this, of course. They want you to use the e-mail or telephone.

For extra fun - if you still have a few minutes left in the day - enter the address into Google maps. Zoom in, then switch to satellite view. One of them was a hot dog stand in front of a building in New York City. Another was (what I believe to be) a sewage treatment plant near Leeds.

Did you know that there's a bank branch smack dab in the middle of the M5? Damned convenient, I must say.

It just adds a little fun, and might be the final convincer if someone still believes this nonsense. Does anybody? Rolling Eyes

Hi Jellyroll.
Unfortunately many people just assume the address to be valid as well as making the assumption that the deals offered are equally so. Millions of dollars make their way to scammers all over the world causing great distress. This is your opportunity to help stem the flow by baiting the crap out of them. Pick a surplus scam and be off with you! Laughing
