It started a few days before Easter and even my catcher accounts have died away to a trickle now.

I think lots of Lads who work away must travel home for Easter. It's a shame because I thought we may have exterminated all the world's Lotto Lads. Very Happy

- but then what would I do ?

I even rang a random Lad to annoy someone, as I was a little bored, and he said "I don't do business during the holiday". Like he works the rest of the year Rolling Eyes

- so I just gave him an earful of expletives in a Belfast Irish accent and rang off.

Long weekend for the over worked lads, most of mine have always been lazy buggers & take the weekends off (without my permission I may add)

One of my lad hasn't contacted me since Thursday his time , one contacted me on Saturday his time saying he couldn't get me pics of the artwork until Tuesday because of the Easter break, he said he was in his "Countryside Home" Shocked

I checked the IP and he's not in Accra anymore. The other emailed me this morning so he's still working. All the others I haven't heard since Friday their time.

My mailbox is quite too for the last few days. I think at least one of them is a muslem - I'm not sure. My lads are all new, since I just started again after a year of break from baiting.

All of my lads e-mailed me up to Saturday night, then it all died off. A few mentioned the Easter Holiday in their last messages. Then I wake up this morning and BOOM they're in overdrive, all my lads replied back and I had 12 new ones. I guess they Celebrated Easter too so they could get the holiday, lazy b@$t@rds.

It does seem that they took the Easter weekend off. This surprises me because I'd bet very ew are Christian or live in Christian countries and Easter is strictly a Christian observance.

I suupose it is possible that countries that were once under British influence such as Nigeria do observe it as a holiday, as I believe it is still regarded as a holiday in GB, though not formally in the US.

So christianity is pretty major in Africa! In other scammer rich areas, christianity (albeit the eastern versions) are very major religions too.

It's a very major holiday in the UK second only to Christmas, as it is in most other christian countries. In some christian countries it's the premier holiday.

Finally joine the foru after a few onths of dicking the 419 lads around. I have been playing the (many) that come into my personal Yahoo account. I give the less interesting ones the phone number of my local police station.
I would like some mentoring. It seems the lads usually lose interest in me after asking for a small sum -- say, $300 -- to cover courrier expenses or something. There's no way I will send them anything.

Last year when I just started I got plenty of help there. There is also the mentor thread somewhere, you can try and apply to it.

Anyway, about them loosing interest - this is your mistake. You say you won't send the money, so they go and look for a better victim. You should tell them you are going to send them the money. And you should do it - of course, there are difficulties. Sometimes you "sent" it to the wrong city, sometimes there are security forms the lads should fill before you can send the money, sometimes you got contacted with another lad who has a better deal, so you want to consult your old lad friend about that.

There are plenty of ways to make them think you are on the hook and about to send their money everyday. And they are getting very annoyed about this.

Go check the help forum, read the complete baits stories, it'll give you ideas.
