This was in my email. A green gard lottery. Standard solicited looking email. Link takes you to a page that ask for personal information on the first page. Second page ask for credit card info.

It is not a scam, its just a spam. USAFIS makes some kind of lottery where you can win green cards. Or you just pay them for them sending your details to official green card lottery, so it saves your work a bit. Not sure. Silly, but not illegal. They really make some minor service to you for the money.
EDIT: Oh, so USAGC you say. It seems like some USAFIS clone though. I dont think its a scam. |

Ok, just sounded real fishy. My wife is an immigrant and the mound of paperwork you have to go through. A lottery isn't going to get you anywhere. Just another way to make a buck I guess. Thanks for looking at it. |
