I learned that if you don't know what to do next or if you're wondering if this certain modality will work just go ahead and try it, doesn't matter if you stuff up there's a lot more fish in the sea. To echo Faith, I have had a lot of failed attempts at getting an art trophy, probably at least a dozen before getting to Jo3l and I had at least another dozen before I found two other lads who have "promised" to make it and seem to believe me.

I was also a very low maintenance mentee, all I needed was a confidence boost and some guiding and I was off, Special is awesome. Cool

Another thing that I highly recommend is keeping your emails in folders and your account updated. This way you can quickly determine where you are with baits and send the lad a quick reminder that you are waiting for a reply, trophy etc. If all correspondence ends up in your In and Sent box, it gets very confusing when running multiple baits. At least I'm not smart enough to keep track of all of them in my head...

There is some great advice in here.

Soemthing I would like to add is to be aware of oportunities when they present themselves, when they do, dont be affraid to make the most of it.

My most fun bait as well as my pith helmet came from a bait where I had no initial plans besides wasting a little of the lads time.

About 1 week in an oportunity arose that was too good to pass up, a dollar chop which led to the lad asking me to be his partner in his hitman scam.

I was reluctant at first but jumped in anyway, even then I had no grand plans but an oportunity arose to get him on safari, this time there was no hesitation and shortly after the lad was moving.

Recognise oportunities as they arise, then make the most of them

I must point out that although I had no plans it still took loads of work by many baiters over many months to get him moving, however, between us the lad did pay very dearly

Some more tips to add

You dont have to send a photo or ID or even your name and location to a lad, while these things can help, I recommend trying ways to avaoid sending such things, it will be more rewarding and leave you with less to remember and more oportunities to change your plans

Dont start too soon on using some of the great tools and services available to baiters such as forms and delivery services, before using any of the great tools you realy should learn how to get by without them. Once you know how to control a lad without tools you can then add some new modalities to your arsenal gradually and more effectively.
A poorly used tool may teach the lad of that tool and prevent future use on that lad for both yourself and for others.
You may also become dependant if you over use these tools.
Learn to get by without them, then use sparingly
