Interesting that the testimonials site is using zonedit too, and it was only registered recently. Something smells very fishy here.
Site looks really poor (although there are some contact details) and they are probably trying to ride the bandwagon of trustedtestimonials.org who are legit.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Well I guess my boy will have to live with the reality of this. I guess one lesson he learnt is not to spend money you dont have!!

- Is that site to which the link directs also phoney? I wish I had the know how to take this further and get these sites shut down. It probably wont mean much to them but at least they know we are watching.

If this site is closed but rears it 's grotesque head later , is it possible to scam a site like this. for example - has anyone tried to order stuff and not pay - or something similar (Not that I am suggesting anything) or mess about with their heads till they pop! Any suggestions (legal) would be welcome. She who must be obeyed is furious with him and is standing over my shoulder to see that I dont get up to any mischief either !!! ^^^ So long as you can get them talking over email, yes you can bait them. It's just like a phone lad, so pop over to that forum for help with that (it's not rocket science.) When you get a new web site then you should be able to get it closed down and get a nice shopping cart icon for your signature. See the Fake Banks forum for that.

^^^ I noticed the two domains and the date of registration also.

However I was for giving them the benefit of the doubt even though they do look dodgy.

Perhaps Ian Hill should be contacted in reference to rapidgaming. His reaction might let us know if he is legit or not. I'm sure running a fake testimonial site would be a cute way to 'verify' your fake merchant sites.

@hamilton18 that link looks like it was a legit project. If you wanted to PM I can let you know what I did on my search and what the results were.
