My lad is supposed to be sending me an ATM card so I can, at long last, get possession of the fund he has promised me.

The latest email from the bank, however...

My ATM card (measuring approx. 80mm x 55mm x 1mm) is being shipped to me in a galvinized envelope, apparently. I'm not surprised the delivery charges are so high.

Tell him you expect nothing less than a chromed or silver plated package, all that money and they want to send it in galvanised metal, how common Very Happy

Well, if it has to be sent as Sea Cargo then I'm not surprised the container is galvanized to prevent corrosion.

You wouldn't want a rusty old card that gets stuck in the ATM slot, would you?

Everyone knows that galvanized containers with ATM cards inside are exceedingly dangerous. No wonder the airlines refuse to carry them.

My bank only allows withdrawals of $200 a day. At that rate it would take 35 years to collect the full payment.
