I'm baiting a check lad who is in the UK and is using the name of a real Indian company. When his check finally came, he hadn't yet given me payment instructions. Being a diligent employee, I took the initiative and found out where to send the money.

I wrote:

I never thought I would see the day. I received my first check. I deposited it immediately in my bank account. I kept my commission, wrote a check for the rest and mailed it to your company in India. I found the address on your web site.
Thanks a lot.

After a long argument about why he wants me to get the postal service to give me back the check I already mailed, he sent this:

Hahahaha! What a moron. I have one just like him. He told me that in order to receive my funds, I had to pay $250 to the IRS for taxes. Happily, I was just about to pay my quarterly taxes that day, so I just added $250 to them and mailed them off.

Now, lad tells me:
